Relief in REDx plan

The Telecom Tribunal TDSAT has recently given great relief to Vodafone-Idea Ltd. The TDSAT has put an order on the Red X Premium plan of the Telecom Regulatory and Development Authority (TRAI) not to add new customers of vodafone-Idea. Now the company will be able to add new customers as before. In this scheme, it was said to provide 4G network facility to some category of customers on priority basis.

However, TRAI will be able to investigate the entire matter and take action.  Earlier last week, VIL had challenged the TRAI's directive by filing an application in the tribunal, asking the plan to be deferred till the matter is reviewed. Click here
